TIMBER box SASH WINDOWS
Traditionally, the sash window followed a 'box sash' design, with the weights and cords (which control the sashes) located in 'boxes' either side of the frame. Properties built at this time set the windows back from the brick or stone surround, hiding the boxes from view and maximising the window area. The CSW6's high specification will satisfy the most demanding and cost-conscious customers, and is perfect for all properties that had sash windows installed when they were originally built, are listed, or are in areas of historic importance.
